Biography

Four years ago, my family and I took a trip to visit childhood friends here in North Texas. It was on that trip when we decided that we would soon be calling Texas our home. That was the summer before our oldest was to enter high school. So we put in place a four year plan that would lead us back here. Now our oldest, Kayla, is off to East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania on a full Volleyball Scholarship and myself, my wife, my son and my youngest daughter are learning our way around the DFW area. My wife, Lainie, and I have both been in education for 16 years. Back in California, she taught ELA at her childhood middle school and I was the Vice Principal of Student Athletics, Activities, and Discipline, at our alma mater high school. I attended New Mexico, Highlands University on a football scholarship and it is there where I earned my bachelors degree in Human Performance & Sport/Health. I went on to receive my Masters degree in Education Administration and have continued to keep up with the latest trends to better serve our 21st Century Learners. My son, Noah, is entering 7th grade this fall and looks forward to playing ball under the Texas lights. My youngest, Lily Rose, will be entering the 5th grade and is a free spirit. She loves all animals and wants to rescue every one she comes across. Like her older sister, she also plays volleyball and hopes to find a club team to join. I look forward to meeting all of you and becoming a part of the Eaton Eagle Family!
