What is the PSAT??
It is a test that measures readiness towards college, provides access to scholarships and practice for the SAT. The PSAT in your 11th grade year qualifies you for the
National Merit Scholarship Competition.
*The PSAT will be given in October each year to a select group of EHS students (typically 10th and 11th grade) This test is free of charge to NISD students and requires no pre-registration. The test will be given here at school, during school hours.
What is the SAT?
The SAT is a college entrance exam accepted by most universities. This is typically used in conjunction with GPA to predict a student's potential success in college. Students who wish to take the exam, register and pay online, choosing a testing site and date that is convenient for them. Please be mindful of deadlines, as they do charge for late registration.
