AG/FFA

FFA functions on a three-ring model of FFA, Classroom and SAE. In those circles students are provided many opportunities to learn, compete and hone in their skills in many areas including Animal Science, Plant Science and Agriculture Mechanics. Student can compete in a variety of contests ranging from identifying plants, bugs and animals to demonstrating mechanical skills to testing and identifying defects in dairy products to testing soil samples along with many event options available for public speaking from fully prepared and researched speeches to extemporaneous speaking. The FFA prides ourselves on the fact that there is a place for everyone in the organization and no matter your future career path there is something for you to learn in the FFA that you will use in your adult life.

Our club is all about creating a welcoming space where students can hang out, have fun, and form meaningful friendships with their peers who have special needs. Black Student Union (BSU) serves as a supportive community where students can connect, share experiences, and celebrate their cultural heritage. It aims to promote inclusivity, foster a sense of belonging, and provide a platform for discussing issues related to race, identity, and social justice. The BSU also works to educate the broader school community, advocate for the needs of students, and contribute to a more equitable and culturally aware school environment.

The purpose:

Northwest Clay Target Team consists of junior high and senior high school students that are from V.R. Eaton and Northwest High Schools  who have a passion for the outdoors and shooting sports.

The purpose:

The computer science club consists of students both in and out of computer science classes who want to get together with like-minded individuals to hang out, learn new things about coding and technology and explore avenues of computer science beyond the traditional classroom.  We welcome students of all skill levels.

DECA prepares the next generation to be academically professionally community experienced prepared responsible oriented leaders through competition, field trips and community service.

This club is for fans of the tabletop role-playing fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons, or for anyone who'd like to learn. Players pretend to be heroes in an epic adventure. This club fosters storytelling, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving

The purpose: Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences courses.  Eaton FCCLA has two main focuses: Community Service and Leadership.  Students are eligible to join FCCLA if they are currently enrolled, or have previously taken any Family Consumer Science course. 

Activities include community service opportunities, leadership conferences, team-building, and active student participation at the state and national levels

EHS Robotics started as an after-school robotics program in 2016 one year after the opening of V.R. Eaton HS. We are an entirely student lead and directed after school program thafter-schoolp of high school and middle school students along with faculty and alumni mentors.  The team meets at V. R.
